Passionate about my two dogs, I created Bear & Boosie in 2007.

Disturbed every night by Boosie my Chihuahua relentlessly digging at my bedside to be lifted up I knew my beauty sleep was in danger! Boosie's bedtime is when ever she fancies. 11.00 pm, 2.00am, 6.00am I would find myself leaning out and hoisting her up.

My problem was made worse when on my 21st birthday I welcomed a tiny Shih Tzu girl, with a face resembling an owl, from my sister Kate.

Honeybear adopted Boosie as a surrogate mother, waddling around after her, sad when she was left alone and even taking on Chihuahua traits. After a few months she finally learnt how to climb the stairs, and she too started pawing and crying by my bed.

Thinking about my problem I came up with the idea of their own little flight of stairs, to stand against my bed, so they could come and go whenever they pleased.

I have never been the sort of person to settle for a mediocre solution, so a plastic set from the vets was not going to cut it. I wanted something to serve the purpose safely, and be a fabulous and unique piece of furniture for me to enjoy in my bedroom.

My 'diva girls' inspired me to design the 'Divas Only' set. With a little encouragement from me they were both up and down like yo-yos, leaving me to have an unbroken nights sleep!

Because I had enjoyed designing the stairs so much, and they were such a resounding success, I had the idea of creating a range to start my own unique business.

Marrying my passion for perfection and exceptional quality with stunning materials such as Swarovski Crystals, fine silk dupion and French toile, I feel I have created not only a spectacular range of practical stairs, but fabulous eye-catching works of art.
